Portable Orchestra Of Major Brown

Imagine, that you left the house on a full-moon night, and went along silent silver streets until you found yourself on a waste ground, where you saw several figures. And you noticed that one of them, dressed in a ballet costume is dancing in silver glimmerin light. And suddenly, let's say, you realize that this is a man in disguise. And having looked more precisely you recognise in him Field-Marshal Lord Kitchener. What will you think then? He kept silent for some time and then continued:
-- You just cannot be satisfied with a simple explanation.

Crazy judge Basil Grant from Chesterton's story "Adventures of Major Brown" came to an absolutely right conclusion: it is extremely hard to give simple explanations to certain things, such as dreams, childlessness tax or "Portable Orchestra of Major Brown".

. .

Starting with the moment when our life paths get so organized that we cannot experience bright and fresh feelings any more, we start losing interest in life and consequently start ageing.

Being a military man, experienced and coarse, he would have stayed like this, lest the events known from the story, after which he could not be sure any more, that bats learned to navigate in the dark due to Darwin's evolution system. It is this fact from valorous biography of our character that gave the reason to portable orchestra of city crunks to name themselves after him.

They bear his name up to this day, being on the one hand a department of New Art Ensemble, and on the other hand -- autonomous enough phenomenon, being on the one hand -- NAE's program, and on the other hand an independent janre meant for the streets, squares, subways of Motherland, where -- forming bright and dynamic current of events -- most unusually interwave: songs of "Beatles" and rhythms of "Art Ensemble of Chicago", strange tunes of "Psychic TV" and clinic humor of "New Art Ensemble", classic rock-n-roll and songs of Soviet composers, letka-enka, Phantomas, gas tank, nickel bed boards, three piglings, electric pistol, bike wheels, loudspeakers, springs, twist, whistle, step, Albanian dance and Russian yells, vulgar hopping, vacuum hoses, iron roof cover, cans, cute shoes, Bize, free jazz, freedom from jazz and just freedom. Anyway, if your life paths lead you to a waste ground, where you will see several figures and notice that one of them makes strange hopping movements on a strange device, and another diligently exercises in rotating a gas tank, and a third never stops his pleas to someone to switch off the electric pistol, etc. -- it means that "Portable Orchestra of Major Brown" is getting ready for the performance, which you should not miss, because after it you'll start feeling interest in life and consequently start growing younger.
