U & V : Temporal Mice

These two mice have each been injected with a specially engineered retrovirus. In both cases, the retrovirus has been programmed to target language centers in the brains' temporal lobes. In particular, they will settle in a nucleus of cells known to be highly active during the Humor Response.

In Mouse V, the retrovirus will become locally lethal upon entering the nucleus. In Mouse U, however, the retrovirus will trigger local cells to replicate at an alarming rate.
