CHARACTERISTICS OF SOCIAL PROTECTION AND FINANCIAL PROVISION
Some research workers of the University are honoured with the Presedent grant.
Accrding to the decision of Scientific Council the raised grants were set for
the post-graduate students and doctorship students.
The University can't afford the business trips of its scientists to the
scientific conferences, libraries, archives and other scientific institutions.
The State doesn't finance the University even in the value required to pay
salary to employees and grants to students and post-graduate students.
Only from the own funds the Univeresity buys scientific and educational
literature and publishes the bulletin of scientific works. The stock of
scientific and educational literature is 376913.
For the last five years the University's scientists have issued 8 monographs
in Russia and former USSR.
The only source of financing the scientific investigations is the economic
agreements. The contractual works for the 1994 made 480 millions of Roubles.

The number of science and pedagogical staff members is 314 (including 7
regular and corresponding members of various academies, 33 doctors of sciences,
7 named "The Honoured Science Worker of Russia", 174 candidates of sciences.
For the last 10 years there were 87 candidate's thesises defended by the
University employees.
The post-graduate courses and the doctorship trains 78 students on 9
specialities.
Univbersity has four councils on candidate's and doctor's thesis defending
on four specialities.
