Hereditary Allegories : A Study in Genetics

M & N : Recessive Compulsive Control

There is speculation that the CTL Gene, found on Chromosome #7, is responsible for megalomania-type personalities, such as exhibited by Adolph Hitler, and may also account for milder manifestations of the same essential traits. It is found in most mammals, including the mouse. The CTL Gene has entered politics through legislature designed to eliminate criminal behavior.

The CTL gene is recessive, meaning it is expressed only when inherited from both parents. Mouse M possesses this gene. Mouse N does not.
